At Discount Security’s Mermaid Beach production facility, we fabricate, assemble and despatch products ranging from plain flysceens, to 7mm diamond grille, welded aluminium hardcore and the amazingly innovative stainless steel Supascreen.

The factory commenced operation in 1992 and has since manufactured product for more than 17000 installations.

All factory equipment has been replaced during this period, so as to not only improve manufacturing precision, but also speed and product cycle time. This ensures that customers receive a quality product at the right price

Discount Security is currently implementing a manufacturing and installation Standards Program, currently under development with the National Security Screen Association. This will allow us to complement our range of premium 7mm diamond grille triple locking doors, with a range of Australian Standard AS 2803 Type Tested Security Doors.
